By opting for a certified GMO-free diet for our cows, we have listened to and acted on the expectations of our consumers for healthier, more natural food.
Our local distribution network offers our regional consumers milk produced exclusively in the Hauts de France.
THE WELL-BEING of our farmers
As a cooperative, the sustainability and compensation of dairy farmers is essential to us.
Therefore, the minimum price paid to our Via Lacta® farmers is fixed and guaranteed annually by the Prospérité Fermière Board of Directors. In addition to this minimum price, a bonus of €15 per 1000 litres is also paid out, to highlight the additional work demanded by the Via Lacta® process.
THE WELL-BEING of our cows
It’s obvious! In order to produce high-quality milk, a cow has to have the best conditions. Therefore, every cow that produces Prospérité milk benefits from 1,500 m2 of pasture for at least 170 days per year.
This means they can graze at their leisure during the spring and summer period. During the winter months, the cows are sheltered in a barn with straw bedding, which is more ecological and comfortable.
PROTECTING our environment
29th March 2017,
Prospérité Fermière signed up to a 3-year partnership with WWF-France.
The goal of this partnership is to reduce the impact our production has on our regional environment, by initially analysing the main risks of milk production then defining commitments and objectives for improvement based on these risks.
